Student Voice and Agency

At Scoresby Secondary College, fostering Student Voice and Agency goes hand-in-hand with encouraging students to take ownership of their learning and personal growth.

We actively support students in becoming self-directed learners by providing opportunities for them to set goals, reflect on their progress, and make decisions about their educational pathways, and influence school environment through service on student leadership committee and school council.

Through initiatives like student-led conferences, and collaborative projects, students are given the autonomy to shape their own academic journeys which builds their confidence, problem-solving skills, and resilience.
